Based in ancient Greek (dia = “across” and taxis = “arrangement”), Diátaxis describes a systematic framework for thinking about and working with technical documentation.

support content
Support content describes any supplementary content which aims to support someone’s ability to use a product or service [as it was designed to be used].
By supplementary, we mean it isn't readily available - users generally need to take an action to find it. There's also an emphasis on "use" as support content should focus on helping users complete actions. The emphasis on "as it was designed to be used" distinguishes the content from most technical documentation. So we're generally talking about content that supports any random person, tech savvy or not, to complete tasks when the available information isn't quite enough.
